Use Overview and Trip Mode
Check trip readiness before departure, then use the travel-day view while the trip is happening.
Before the trip
Overview summarizes the trip structure, bookings and readiness so missing essentials are easier to spot before departure.
Use it as a final scan for days that are still empty, important bookings that are not confirmed, unresolved schedule warnings and practical gaps such as missing transport or accommodation anchors.
Open Trip Mode when you are travelling
Trip Mode focuses on the active day instead of the full planning workspace. It keeps the current and next stops prominent so you can use the itinerary quickly while moving.
Mark stops visited or skipped as the day progresses. Those progress actions do not require you to reorganize the main planner, so the original itinerary remains useful as the source of truth.
Use the normal planner when you need to change the itinerary, routes or details. Use Trip Mode when the plan is already good enough and you mainly need to follow it.
If the day changes substantially, return to the planner, make the change there and then reopen Trip Mode with the updated sequence.
